today’s look: for sale

(more pictures below) Tweet The striped sweater (Vanillia), skirt (H&M) and belt are for sale. This look has quite a lot going on. I think it’s fresh, there’s some color blocking, mixed prints and some neon. It shows that different things don’t necessarily ‘don’t work’. The jacket is vintage, the heels are Sam Edelman and the necklace is Zara.

today’s look: picknick amongst flowers

(more pictures below) Tweet And here’s the sun again! Although quite girly, I love wide skirts. They’re fun when I want to play with proportions. The 2 colors on this one add a little depth and enough balance to the floral top. The leather cobalt belt is vintage, the suede and leather heels are Zara. The clutch is by Mango.

today’s look: chic shorts

(more pictures below) Tweet I can’t believe we have had this kind of sunny weather for over a week now! The temperatures are amazing and so are these fabulous clothes I can wear every day. I love how ‘non-pink’ this look is. Wait, let me explain that. Usually, pink brings a lot of girliness or sweetness to a look, but not here, I think. This look is more chic, and fabulously effortless. And though the blouse is very deep pink, the shorts take it more into a burgundy kind of shade. My vintage Hermes Kelly bag was practically begging me to take her out of the dust bag, and I listened, without hesitation, as there is no cloud, and thus, no rain in sight. The silver vintage ring with amazing cut emerald stone is the only jewelry I’m wearing today.

today’s look: altitude

(more pictures below) Tweet There’s a lot that I love about H&M’s Conscious Collection. It’s conscious in different ways; besides the fact that recycled materials are used for the most part which helps our environment, the future of our children and diminish the atrocious amount of waste we’re producing, it’s just a fabulous collection with fabulous colors and details. This kimono is one of the many pieces with the Conscious label in my closet. Today I’m wearing it with a pair of amazing red Nelly shoe boots, a batik print purse, and a pair of H&M skinny pants. The top and necklace are H&M as well.

today’s look: silver flats ‘n lots of flowers

Tweet My silver ballerina flats took their first ride together with these floral pants and lace blazer (both H&M). I’m so happy temperatures are rising, spring is long overdue so, although the South of France is waiting for me come June, I’m taking every change I get to wear something colorful or something that says ‘spring’. The metallic clutch is Asos and I’m wearing a chunky silver ring with swarovski crystals.

today’s look: altered africa

(more pictures below) Tweet I love this top with it’s amazing print, I think it was my first piece ever with an awesome African print. I’m totally hooked right now on beautiful African prints and batik prints, so if you don’t like it, you have something coming. All these prints too much for you? Check out tomorrow’s downgraded version of this look, perfect for casual Fridays! The blue and white floral skirt reminds me of the famous Dutch “Delfts blauw” china, it’s perfect. The zebra printed pony hair flats are Warehouse, I’m wearing 3 different leather belts (vintage) and a lot of different bangles (Primark, vintage, I am). The choker necklace is H&M, the statement necklace I made myself.

today’s look: tiny bows and flowers

Tweet I’m feeling a bit gypsy-like today. Since my neon yellow leather bag hasn’t arrived yet, I’ve deferred to using this lovely tiny leather Mulberry one. I’ve paired the vintage skirt with a cute top with tiny bows from H&M. A beaded statement necklace adds to the circus/gypsy-feel this outfit has.

today’s look: Chinese garden

Tweet Today I’m wearing a fabulous black vintage pleated skirt, it’s very heavy since it has all these layers of fabric. I’ve paired it with a Chinese floral top, sequined jacket (H&M), leather gloves, lace shoes and a giant black octopus ring. I always love when I buy things seperately, which I mostly do, and they come together so beautifully. Like this necklace and the Chinese floral top.

today’s look: the russian

Tweet Today I’m wearing a lovely boucle jacket with a purple fur collar. I’ve paired it with an amazing pleated floral maxi-skirt, my vintage Dior belt and suede boots by Marni. The purse is Primark. I’m totally in love with this outfit.

today’s fashion week look: little princess

Tweet It’s amazing how organically looks have to ‘grow’, at times. Sometimes they just come together like 1, 2, 3 and other times, like this one, it takes a while of patiently awaiting what is to come. These floral leggings have been waiting for quite some time now. Experience learns that at some time, something always happens and it all comes together. I was able to complete the entire look with this vintage top I bought last week, it’s perfect as I was looking for something floral and something that would go along with the other mixed prints. I have an extra lot of fun creating outfits like these, because of the more extreme feel, the colors… It must be the little princess in me. And, let’s be honest, it’s perfect for Paris! Shoes – Asos Leggings – H&M Petticoat

Today’s look: floral maxi skirt

Today I’m wearing a pleated maxi skirt with a simple white top, like we see in Jill Sander’s summer collection. A statement necklace gives a little somthing extra, paired with my Primark mesh clutch. My taupe peeptoe heels (Zara) give this look a little extra ‘vogue’ if you ask me.
