today’s fashion week look: golden age

Tweet In honor of today’s fashion shows in Paris (Chanel, Valentino and McQueen), I’ve come up with this little ensemble, one of the last ‘fashion week looks’ for this year. A vintage snakeprint dress from Paris, a gorgeous vintage velvet jacket by Oscar de la Renta and my super soft quilted lambskin Chanel bag, a vintage one as well. The patent leather heels are from la bella Italia. The gorgeous little veil hair piece from H&M adds a bit of drama. Tweet Today I’m wearing a gorgeous skirt by Day Birger et Mikkelsen, a Yves Saint Laurent satin top and NLY shoes. The crocodile skin bag is Christian Dior and my ring was a gift from a dear friend. Vandaag draag ik een prachtige rok van Day Birger et Mikkelsen, een top van Yves Saint Laurent en schoenen van Nelly (NLY). De krokodillen leren tas is van Christian Dior en de ring heb ik van een dierbare vriendin gekregen.

today’s fashion week look: I love paris in the spring

Tweet Love this little animal print tunic/dress by Zara. It has a bit of a tulip shape and semi-big shoulders. The shoes speak for themselves, they’re just incredible. The bag is a gorgeous vintage doctor’s bag by Yves Saint Laurent, I love it. I can fall in love with the smallest details: the leopard spots in contrast with the lizard print on the cuff. Erg leuk, dit jurkje van Zara. Het heeft een beetje een tulp/bolle vorm en pofschouders. De schoenen spreken natuurlijk voor zichzelf, ik vind ze ongelofelijk mooi. De tas is een prachtige vintage dokterstas van Yves Saint Laurant. Ik hou van (kleine) details: De luipaardprint in contrast met de brede armband die een hagedissenprint heeft.

today’s fashion week look: little princess

Tweet It’s amazing how organically looks have to ‘grow’, at times. Sometimes they just come together like 1, 2, 3 and other times, like this one, it takes a while of patiently awaiting what is to come. These floral leggings have been waiting for quite some time now. Experience learns that at some time, something always happens and it all comes together. I was able to complete the entire look with this vintage top I bought last week, it’s perfect as I was looking for something floral and something that would go along with the other mixed prints. I have an extra lot of fun creating outfits like these, because of the more extreme feel, the colors… It must be the little princess in me. And, let’s be honest, it’s perfect for Paris!
