newest addiction: most marni

(more pictures below) Tweet This Marni x H&M necklace is quite something. It’s bold & beautiful. I love it together with the preppy jacket and the retro Prada belt. The burgundy leather tote is Zara, the jeans are H&M. Suede boots are Marni as well. I’ve been loving my grey suede Marni boots for some time now and thanks to the fabulous Marni x H&M collaboration, I got to expand my collection of lovely Marni pieces. Marni stands out for it’s incredible prints, unique details and choice of materials. You’ll be seeing more Marni x H&M pieces here soon.

today’s look: part prada

Tweet I love this look, it says: I’m ready for business, and tells an interesting story as well. The vintage double breasted Armani jacket is one of my favorites, the cut is simply amazing. I love the paisley-esque print the vintage blouse has and I found just the perfect pair of bangles to go with it. A quick look won’t even tell the bangles apart from the blouse. The fitted pants are Asos, I love the color and they just feel like a dream. A pair of lace socks, black heels and the ever gorgeous Prada bag, and I’m good to go! today’s look: african autumn

Tweet I’m wearing a turtleneck sweater today, paired with a vintage velvet skirt with a midi length, which has a fabulous animal print, a leather crocodile print belt, metallic leggings and my suede Asos booties. For some counterbalance I’ve added my leather Prada bag and when it’s cold in the morning I’ll be wearing these fabulous suede gloves. Voor ‘t eerst deze herfst draag ik een dunne coltrui, samen met een medium-lange vintage rok met een mooie dierenprint, een leren krokodillenprint riem, ‘metallic’ leggings en suede schoenen van Asos. For een beetje balans pak ik de neutrale leren Prada tas en als het ‘s ochtends koud is trek ik de suede handschoenen aan.

today’s fashion week look: Prada meets paisley

Tweet Today I’m wearing this gorgeous metallic paisly printed pair of pants which I have designed myself. I’ve paired them with a smooth vintage blouse, a wool short jacket and a mohair hat. The shoes are Asos and their color matches so beautifully with the pants. My bag is by Prada (you have to see their SS12 collection, by the way) and it gives a nice counterbalance to the print and shinyness of the pants and the structuredness of the jacket. I’m absolutely in love!! Vandaag draag ik deze prachtige broek van glanzende stof met een paisley print, ik heb ‘m zelf ontworpen en laten maken. Ik combineer ‘m met een gladde effen vintage blouse met strik, een kort wollen jasje en een mohair hoed. De schoenen zijn van Asos en de kleur past ontzettend mooi bij de verschillende tinten

Tweet Today I’m wearing one of my coolest pair of wide trousers. I love the fabric, the color, and decided to go all out with beige-tones. My snakeskin print heels: off-white. The Prada bag: beige. The vintage knitted top: green, white and beige. I think all the beige-ness bring a little softness to the androgynous touch this pair of trousers bring to this look. Today I’m wearing my Mango necklace which I hardly ever wear, it’s quite the bold one, but I love it in today’s outfit. I’m wearing a classic pair of boucle pants, in beautiful blue and cream tones. A simple satin top with structured shoulders and my beige gladiator heels are all I need, together with my Prada bag. I’ve added a simple blue rhinestone ring because my hands feel quite empty, but I do want the necklace to get all the attention. Vandaag draag ik een ketting van Mango die ik bijna nooit draag, hij is behoorlijk groot en dat is niet altijd naar mijn zin te combineren, maar vandaag is het goed gelukt. Today I’m wearing a black and green vintage blazer, paired with a colored leopard print blouse, a gorgeous long necklace with black and jade-colored glass beads and a big pendant. I’m wearing my Prada bag with this look, though I’m showing you a snakeskin clutch in the picture. Love my new snakeskin print heels with this outfit! Vandaag draag ik een zwart-groene vintage blazer met een gekleurde blouse in luipaard print. Erbij een lange ketting (SPS) met zwarte en jade gekleurde glazen kralen en een grote hanger. Een zandkleurige H&M tregging geeft wat balans, samen met de effen slangenprint pumps. Ik draag mijn Prada-tas altijd bij deze outfit omdat ‘ie zo eenvoudig is, maar laat op de foto een mooie gekleurde slangenprint clutch zien.

Today’s look: a lot of Prada

This look got picked Look of the Day on the FabSugar website! Although my Prada bag stays in my closet today, I’m feeling a lot of Prada in this outfit. The stripes from this summer’s collection, the retro-feel, warm colors and a little something crazy. Sounds just like Prada to me. I’m wearing a striped top (Mango) with a vintage skirt, paired with ocre ballerina flats from H&M latest collection and my Zara leather tote. This outfit is already one of my favorites, what do you think? Hoewel mijn Prada tas niet uit de kast komt voor deze outfit, heeft deze outfit toch heel veel Prada elementen: de streepjes uit de collectie voor deze zomer, het retro tintje, de warme kleuren en de pittige combinatie.
