Vogue…

Want zoiets moois verdient gedeeld

today’s look: it’s raining dogs alone

I instantly fell in love with these Zara pants. I’ll be wearing them with a pair of loafers for sure, but for a dinner in the city I threw on a pair of wedges and my vintage Armani jacket. Gold bracelet: vintage. Vintage lambskin purse: Chanel.

today’s look: a softer shade

A tasteful mixture of peach, pistachio and mango, with a little cream, if you will. I can’t get over this look! The cut of the H&M top (Conscious Collection) is simply divine, the Zara heels do deserve endless more rounds before summer’s coming to an end, and don’t even get me started on the lilly-white Hermes Kelly bag, one of the more beautiful vintage pieces in my collection. Pants: H&M Bracelet: Zara

today’s look: black camel

After wearing lots of colors, flowers, prints and clashing themes, it can be so good to just wear something easy-going on the eyes. This classic theme always returns and is a great opportunity to play with extravagant accessories, like this vintage Chanel bag and the gold bracelet. I love the black and gold wedges by H&M and the amazing t-shirt by Ted Baker. The pants are Asos.

today’s look: tigre géant

I’ve been back for a while but still long for Paris. This was the final look we shot during our 10 day trip to the French Riviera and Paris. The giant tiger (tigre géant) around my neck is Versace x H&M. Top is vintage, blazer and skirt are H&M, bag is Salvatore Ferragamo, heels are H&M. The red bracelet is Mango, gold tone and yellow one is H&M, as are the 2 zebra rings.

today’s look: southern belle

One of my final looks in the south of France. The evening light is gorgeous there. I’m wearing a dress by the H&M Conscious Collection, shoes are Versace x H&M, clutch is vintage Christian Dior. The silver bracelet has a baguette setting. I particularly love the Zara necklace, it has a lot of faux pearls and faux rhinestones.

today’s look: next is nice

(more pictures below) I could have worn this vintage white Hermes Kelly bag every day during our trip to the French Riviera. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Netherlands, but… the weather doesn’t always agree with my closet. And hence, this gorgeous white leather Kelly doesn’t get to see the light of day as much as she should. But not here, the Kelly and I both had a great time and I had to force myself to use the other (amazing!) designer pieces I brought. The pink dress is vintage, the ballerina flats are Versace x hm. I’m wearing a silver and pink agate bracelet and a red beaded mango bracelet. The earrings are H&M.

today’s look: beach babe

(more pictures below) Tweet All though the water along the Cote d’Azur was still a bit cold, we did spend quite some time on different beaches. Before, we’ve seen our share of gorgeous beaches but the beautiful and intimate little bays between St. Tropez and Cannes are really something else. Honestly it’s hard to find a beach that doesn’t take your breath away. Needless to say my bathing suits got to see the sun almost as much as I did. Here I’m wearing a H&M two piece, my vintage Halston watch and a vintage milk glass bracelet.

how this stylist packs for a 10 day trip to the Cote d’Azur

(more pictures below) It’s crazy and it’s one of my favorite things: packing the stylist’s way. Here’s how it gets done: (not necessarily in this order) First I pick lots of different items from my wardrobe: dresses, jewelry, shoes. Things I absolutely want to take with me. The rack gets more and more crowded and soon it’s cutting time! I have to decide what goes and what not, one of the hardest parts. (I always pack too much) I start putting looks together from all the items I chose, sometimes going back to my closet to add something. I’m deciding, photographing (so I can decide quickly on what to wear in any situation), and wrapping things together so every look will be packed together. (I totally recommend this, it will save you tons of time on your holiday spot) I

today’s look: totally tribal

(more pictures below) Tweet Most people would probably call this borderline, I’m all the more in love with it. Clashing prints can make the most amazing look, and I think that’s what happens here. My heart starts beating a little faster, my smile widens and my eyes just glow. Skirt is vintage batik, leather shoes are Asos, necklaces are vintage, Marni x H&M and from India. Bangles are Mango, Primark and I am.

newest addiction: most marni

(more pictures below) Tweet This Marni x H&M necklace is quite something. It’s bold & beautiful. I love it together with the preppy jacket and the retro Prada belt. The burgundy leather tote is Zara, the jeans are H&M. Suede boots are Marni as well. I’ve been loving my grey suede Marni boots for some time now and thanks to the fabulous Marni x H&M collaboration, I got to expand my collection of lovely Marni pieces. Marni stands out for it’s incredible prints, unique details and choice of materials. You’ll be seeing more Marni x H&M pieces here soon.
