today’s look: black

I can’t say goodbye to neon yet. Luckily, summer is still here even though fall is around the corner. A perfect time for a transitional or trans seasonal look! Black on black is a big trend for the coming season and I’m loving it. And it has been a long, long time since I did. Pants: H&M Top: H&M Neon flats: H&M Bracelets: Zara and vintage

today’s look: it’s raining dogs alone

I instantly fell in love with these Zara pants. I’ll be wearing them with a pair of loafers for sure, but for a dinner in the city I threw on a pair of wedges and my vintage Armani jacket. Gold bracelet: vintage. Vintage lambskin purse: Chanel.

today’s look: falling for fall

This summery look certainly has nothing that would say ‘fall’, weren’t it for the fact that the bib necklace is from Zara’s new fall 2012 collection. Go check it out if you will, I’m in love with many fabulous pieces. Blouse: Zara Pants: H&M Leather heels: vintage Burgundy tote: Zara

today’s look: a softer shade

A tasteful mixture of peach, pistachio and mango, with a little cream, if you will. I can’t get over this look! The cut of the H&M top (Conscious Collection) is simply divine, the Zara heels do deserve endless more rounds before summer’s coming to an end, and don’t even get me started on the lilly-white Hermes Kelly bag, one of the more beautiful vintage pieces in my collection. Pants: H&M Bracelet: Zara

newest addiction: zara leather totes

Ok, to be honest, this isn’t nearly a new addiction, but this one just keeps hitting the ‘refresh’-button! The leather totes Zara has been selling for about 2 years now, are really something. And after Olivia Palermo was spotted with the tan-colored one, sales went through the roof. When I wear one of my (three) totes, I always get a compliment. Be it a: “I have to have a bag like that”, or a woman that tells me she used to be a leather craftswoman and thinks “the bag is truly amazing”, they just keep on coming! I’m not surprised, mainly because I don’t grow tired of these beauties and they always add a luxurious feel to my outfit. I’m happy to see Zara is nothing close to even thinking about tossing these totes out of the collection-window, on the

today’s look: on the road

(more pictures below) Finally on the road to the South of France, and yes, we’re making a stop in Paris! I’ll be writing about that some more. Read about my trip to Paris in March here. I do like to travel in style, ’cause honestly, it’s quite hard to ignore my styling genes. But, lucky me, comfort and style like to go hand in hand, as you can see here! Jacket: Agnes B. how this stylist packs for a 10 day trip to the Cote d’Azur

(more pictures below) It’s crazy and it’s one of my favorite things: packing the stylist’s way. Here’s how it gets done: (not necessarily in this order) First I pick lots of different items from my wardrobe: dresses, jewelry, shoes. Things I absolutely want to take with me. The rack gets more and more crowded and soon it’s cutting time! I have to decide what goes and what not, one of the hardest parts. (I always pack too much) I start putting looks together from all the items I chose, sometimes going back to my closet to add something. I’m deciding, photographing (so I can decide quickly on what to wear in any situation), and wrapping things together so every look will be packed together. (I totally recommend this, it will save you tons of time on your holiday spot) I

today’s look: for sale

(more pictures below) Tweet The striped sweater (Vanillia), skirt (H&M) and belt are for sale. This look has quite a lot going on. I think it’s fresh, there’s some color blocking, mixed prints and some neon. It shows that different things don’t necessarily ‘don’t work’. The jacket is vintage, the heels are Sam Edelman and the necklace is Zara.

today’s look: picknick amongst flowers

(more pictures below) Tweet And here’s the sun again! Although quite girly, I love wide skirts. They’re fun when I want to play with proportions. The 2 colors on this one add a little depth and enough balance to the floral top. The leather cobalt belt is vintage, the suede and leather heels are Zara. The clutch is by Mango.
